Repeat Offenses:

If the violation is repeated, the penalty is the fine for the respective violation doubled, and for other violations on repetition, the penalty is the fine for the respective violation doubled and a three-month suspension of the right to drive a motor vehicle.

Systematic Violations:

For systematic violations, the driver is punished with the fine for the respective violation doubled and a six-month suspension of the right to drive a motor vehicle.

Definition of "Repeat Offense":

According to the law, a repeat offense is when the violation is committed within one year (in cases where someone operates a motor vehicle, tram, or self-propelled machine with a blood alcohol concentration established by medical and chemical examination and/or by technical means that determine the blood alcohol concentration by measuring it in exhaled air—within two years) from the date the penalty decree comes into effect, which imposed a penalty on the violator for the same type of violation, including when the first penalty was imposed as a new driver.

In addition to fines, violators may receive penalty points that are recorded on the driver's license, and in case of significant violations, the driving license may be temporarily revoked. It is important to follow traffic rules to ensure the safety of both drivers and all other road users.
