c) Examination of the claim: The court will examine the request for a change of name and carry out checks to establish whether all the requirements and conditions for a change of name have been met, according to Article 13, paragraph 1 of the ZGBG.
d) Announcement and publication: After the acceptance of the request, the decision to change the name will be announced in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Bulgaria, according to the rules of Article 11 of the ZGBG. This notice provides an opportunity for third parties who have an interest or objections to present them to the court.
e) Issuance of a court decision: If the court finds that all legal requirements are met and there are no objective obstacles to changing the name, then a court decision is issued to change the name, which allows the issuance of a new personal document, according to Article 49 of the Civil Code.
